well, low german itself is understood by 10.000.000 (10 million) people around the world and there are about 2 million native speakers! :-) as you can see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low_German http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niederdeutsche_Sprache and it is part of the european language charta

An other thing: Is it possible to define any other language as fallback for untranslated strings, so that the user in the example of "Low German" wont get a mix from low german and english strings, but a mix of low german and modern german (de) strings in his/her interface? ___
