Hi!,
#416436 [1] is about marking a non translated string as translatable,
according to the i18n team rules[2], I do not need explicit approval
from them, but I guess I still need the hard code freeze approval, sorry
for being too late, I hope this gets sorted out before I have to make

Dear GNOME Hackers,
The system-tools-backends module, recently splitted from the GNOME
system tools, have been moved to FreeDesktop [1]. IMO, being a project
that can be quite handy and has no GNOME dependencies, that's the
correct place for it, so that it can be used for other environments.

Hi!,
Before the string freeze applies completely, I've modified some strings
in services-admin from gnome-system-tools.
Oh, and btw, there have been also some small strings modifications in
system-tools-backends (in order to fix bug #308685) so I've already send
a mail to the Translation Project.
Hi!,
I was trying to find a fix bug #314046 (it caught me in my vacations,
and when I arrived the string freeze was already effective), so I
created a patch for both the string with the typo and the po files. Now
my question is... is this a string freeze break? AFAICT it isn't in the
sense of "the
Hi,
gnome-system-tools has been branched, 2.12 stuff will go to the

I initially wanted to dump all the liboobs work to HEAD, but didn't have
enough time during this release cicle, so it will go to liboobs-branch
and HEAD will contain several small UI and strings improvements
Hello,
in order to fully fix the bug #308685, I've committed a small UI change,
which also contains one new string, given that we're in string and UI
changes announcement period, I supposed you'd be interested :)

Hi,
Don't know if it's useful information, but it's worth telling: g-s-t and
liboobs now have the "fictional" gnome-2-16 branch, although the DBus
changes didn't get into GNOME 2.16, some distro(s?) chose to ship it,
and they're being told to use stuff from this branch.
