I am a Chinese user of GNOME desktop environment and I am eager to do
something to improve its usability. I want to join the Chinese(China) aka
zh_CN translation team but failed to contact the team leader. What is worse,
the team website is now unreachable. Would some one do me a
me.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

The Chinese(China) l10n team coordinator Wang Jian has been out of
contact for about half a year since their website i18n.linux.net.cn broke
down several months ago (about half a year ago to be exact). We are no
longer able to commit our translations and the zh_CN l10n work of G

I used to start my translation from the po/pot files from damned lies
and everything is OK. But there has been problems since I got my own svn
account. It seems that the po files in SVN are not automatically updated.
For example. in gdm2-trunk (NOW), you can find zh_CN.po with 970
some kind of
script to automatically update the po files, since check out the whole
source tree is really time&space consuming.
