With the release of 3.12.0 next Monday, Evolution and E-D-S will
transition to an annual instead of semi-annual release schedule.
This is primarily to compensate for the long delays between upstream
releases and distribution releases, and will give Evolution users more
time to upgrade to and use a
I've attached a patch in

context to several translated strings in gnome-software. The bug was
filed by a translator, but I wonder if this is too disruptive this
close to the release, and should wait ?

Thank you for letting us know. I've updated Damned Lies to point to
gcmd-1-4 as the stable branch.

Hi,
Hi,
Is tracker a part of the GNOME release set? I always thought it was
developed separately, in similar vein to GTK+ etc., and wasn't really
affected by the freezes. If it is, please read the wiki page
explaining the process:

Hello all,
I've managed to push a commit to tracker's master branch which breaks
the string freeze rules.
I've been discussing the rules with the gnome-i18n mailing list already
to find out if this is strictly breaking the rules or not. Details on
the existing discussion here:

Hi Martyn
I tend to agree with Piotr on this, we can consider these strings as
forgotten to be marked. This case does not need to be approved.
Improving the text during fixing does not change the big picture: the
program was saying something not translatable.

Hi,
I'm going to be releasing rhythmbox 3.0.2 this weekend (around 0900
UTC on Sunday). Strings are frozen until then. There are quite a few
translations that are just missing one string I added recently, so
it'd be great to see those fully translated for the release.
thanks,

You know that you are supposed to ask for a string freeze break, instead
of bluntly announcing one?
Also, where's the mnemonic for "Do not show this dialog again"?

Hi guys
I would like to add a dialog at startup to make sure Glade users know about the
survey.
This requires a string and UI break even though it wont change any screenshots.
The dialog looks something like this:
