On 20 Mar 2009 Roozbeh has announced, that gnome will eventually use CLDR data in the future. Are there any news about that, or is the project dead? http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2009-March/msg00334.html It would be extremly helpful, if the big desktop enviroments (GNOME and KDE)
