Hi,
The Kashmiri language can be written in 2 scripts, one is Devnagari
and other is Perso-Arabic.
Is it possible to have both scripts supported in GNOME l10n for Kashmiri?

Yes, should be possible by adding v

Hi,
I checked with our Perso-Arabic research centre ( http://parc.cdac.in/
) and they have confirmed that Arabic is sufficient to represent
Kashmiri. The code points that you mentioned are already available in
Arabic.
I have asked for a supporting standards document which i will

I've committed the fix for the blocker bug 535827 to at-spi.
Technically, this breaks the string freeze, since it adds a schemas

It should be a purely statistical problem though. The only place where
these strings ever show up is in gconf-editor.

Hi,
I have two warning messages at Spanish DL page:
* gnome-power-manager
* hamster-applet
apparently I don't see any problem with those modules, they pass msgfmt
at my computer, but I don't know whether that message can be a problem
for the release.
Am I missing something?
Thanks and cheers.

Hi,
There's a bug in the Eye of GNOME since the gio migration that won't
allow a user to set an image as the background wallpaper[1]. Even worse,
a user setting the wallpaper will get an ugly plain color as

We have a patch to fix that[2], but unfortunately we didn't manage to

Hey All,
This email has reminded me: can someone from the i18n teams please
take care of updating the i18n section of the release notes?
Murray also suggested that a placeholder paragraph be inserted for
translators to be able to insert a translation credit. Does someone
know how to do this?

Copying would indeed be the best solution, but it would require proper
user feedback during the process. This would

To complement what Felix already said: this bug was reported way to late
to write a patch to really copy the image
