While gnome-vfs is a generally dead project we sometimes get minor
patches for it, from distro people, etc. To handle this and the fact
that some such patches may contain new strings I created a stable
gnome-2-28 branch for gnome-vfs, and will commit new patches on master.

I've created a gnome-2-22 branch in gnome-vfs a while ago, and did a
2.23.0 release off trunk today.
The reason for this was to sync the xdgmime copy in gnome-vfs with the
ones used in other parts
of the desktop (actually only gio, nowadays).
I don't anticipate further changes for 2.24...

I don't have any specific plans for 2.16 atm. We'll probably look at
merging the ACL branch, and maybe look at getting chained uris to work
properly (i.e. browse inside .zip and .tar files).
