Hello,
We are planning to release GIMP 2.10.22 in a few days. It's mostly a
bug fix release with few user-visible changes.

Hello,
We are planning to release GIMP 2.10.20 and 2.99.2 later this week. This
means you might want updating translations in both gimp-2-10 and master
branches.

Hello,
Yesterday, we moved development of GIMP 2.10.x to the 'gimp-2-10' branch.
The 'master' branch is now open for the ongoing work on the GTK+3
port. Since this branch is not production-ready at all, we recommend
sticking to translating the 'gimp-2-10 branch' until further notice.

Hi,
GIMP's master branch is now entering a tentative strings freeze phase
in preparation for 2.10 release. We expect further changes between
today and the 2.10 final release to affect no more than 1% of
translatable messages. So it's safe to start working on updates now.

No idea, but you really don't need the pot file.

ek or next month).
In case you already replaced the translation in gimp-2-8, we suggest
you to fetch an older version and use it for further updates in that
branch.
If you have questions, please ask :)

Hi,
Now that GIMP 2.8 is out, we ask translators to work in the gimp-2-8
branch to update translations of the new stable version.
The master branch is where development of the v2.10 is happening, and
it's not suitable for daily use yet.

Hi,
There's no rush. We haven't even released 2.7.4 yet. I'd say 2 weeks
at the very least.

time with updates for 2.8, this isn't a big deal,
because updates can go to 2.8.1 etc.
