About 'Drop Bars' meaning

Hi all, I'm trying to discover the meaning of 'Drop Bars', which appears in Goffice's PO file. Not found any reference on Internet, just for 'drop lines'... So can I guess 'drop bars' are the same as 'drop lines' but with other shape (bars instead of lines)? Thanks and best regards, Dooteo _
