en_GB translation of "trash"

As I'm sure everyone knows, Ubuntu currently change "Wastebasket" to "Deleted Items". Currently, I'd rather have cross-DE (and distro) support on a term to use for "trash", including GNOME, KDE, XFCE and so on. I was wondering what people's thoughts are on what the word should be in en_GB. -- Bru
