hmmm. well i just installed the banshee plugin, but it is not what i was hoping. just right-click commands that i can do just as easily from the panel. something like this would be better: http://blog.zaft.be/2007/12/gnome-do-banshee-goodness.html but I don't have time to look into installing

Can you run Do from the command line with --debug? My guess is that it will complain about not being able to find the indexer library and you will need to run the following command in a terminal: cp ${prefix}/lib/banshee-1/Banshee.CollectionIndexer.dll ~/.local/share/gnome-do/plugins-0.8.1.2/addins
