They have been doing a *bunch* of development on vte. You should read the ChangeLog. (Would that I could summon the energy of Chris Wilson...) Anyhoo, is backspacing working as expected? And what about updating the screen contents? If you're still having problems and you post something repr

Oops, looks like the svn got fixed just after I sent my message. The errors are gone now, and the svn does build. Kenny On Sun, Jan 28, 2007 at 02:51:44PM -0600, kenny wrote: > Hi. > > On Sun, Jan 28, 2007 at 03:47:38PM -0500, Joanmarie Diggs wrote: > > Hi Kenny. > > > > I also saw t

hi. The svn for vte appears to be broken. I wasn't able to build because of compile errors. The latest tarball from gnome.org (vte-0.15.2) seems to have fixed my crash, but I now have other problems. Backspace is broken and Orca doesn't always read the screen contents as it updates. Review doe

Hi Kenny: We're not ignoring you. As a matter of fact, gnome-terminal issues such as the one you are seeing have been a primary focus for us and we've been directly engaged with the VTE team over the past few weeks. Sorry if you got the impression we didn't care. We do care. :-) Forward progr

Hi. I also have the problem. I sent Willy email with a way to always cause the crash, but none of his people seem to be having the same problem. I think I know what is happening, but I would like to compare notes with someone who isn't having the problem. Unfortunately, neither he or his people

Hi Keith, all. gnome-terminal in Feisty did have some crashing issues, not to mention some accessibility issues when using it with Orca. *As far as I can tell*, the crashes were fixed in the most recent release of VTE (0.15.2) http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/vte/0.15/vte-0.15.2.tar.gz
