Hi. You need to provide more info.
What hardware? Is this happening with speech-dispatcher or gnome-speech?
There are probably more questions to ask, but this will start.

This is just a thought about your problem.
Do you have Gnopernicus set to start minimized? If so, I believe what
you are seeing is the fact that nothing will have focus after
Gnopernicus starts and minimizes itself. If you press control-alt-tab,
(hold down the control and alt keys and press

Never mind, I just need to add the
--includedir= to my config script.

One important point I forgot. This will work using Debian unstable. I
don't use any other distro, so I have no idea if what I did would work
on anything else.

Hi.
I should probably finish reading this thread, but I thought I should go
ahead and post a more complete description of how I have
Gnopernicus 0.10.5 working with Brltty 3.6.1.
I configured Brltty 3.6.1 with the following:
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var
--info

As of 13:00 GMT on 04/15/2005, the ttybrl.c file in Brltty's svn won't
build with Gnopernicus.
The file shipp

As far as I'm aware, there isn't a Debian package for brltty 3.6.1. I
removed the Debi
Hi.
You need to set the CONTROLVT variable to tell BRLAPI the virtual
console of the X server.
export CONTROLVT=7
That tells BRLAPI my X server is on virtual console 7. If you use gdm,
add the line to your ~/.gnomerc. If you use startx, add the line to
what ever file you use to start Gnome. W

Hi.
I thought I've read on this list that we should use Sun's JDK 1.5 for our
Java in Gnome accessibility. I haven't had any luck getting it from
Sun's web site. The registration gives me trouble no matter what
browser I try. I have 2 questions.
Is it acceptable to just use JDK 1.44?
If not, i

It took me a while to understand what you meant by LnnKnn, but I finally
got it.
Yes, I can use those strings.
