Hi Jonh: Most speech synthesizers come with a standalone application that will take a text file as input. eSpeak, for example, provides the 'espeak' application that takes a '-f' parameter that lets you specify a file. I suspect, however, that this is pretty insufficient for most heavy spee

Hi, folks. Is there any text reader integrated with GNOME? A few ages ago, I wrote (just for learning python) a simple text reader - frontend for festival (its name is fala). I'm asking this because frequently people come and ask for such a tool. If is exists, it should be installed by default on
