was in
nautilus when he pressed it. There isn't a general tab in the app specific
preferences. To open Orca's default preferences, use insert space instead.

Have you tested this as a different user? If the problem no longer
exists as the new user, then trash your old user's ~/home/.orca folder.
You may also want to subscribe to the orca mailing list for specific
answers to Orca issues. They're pretty sharp there.
