I now have over 400MB of ram on this machine and while startx brings up
gnopernicus very quickly, when I go to read gnopernicus help there appears
to be almost no help. I'm wondering could this system be configured
better so as to get more help read? I'll have to check, there may be a
gnopern

I have the fonix dectalk speech synthesizer version 5.0, and have tried
recompiling gnome-speech 0.3.6 to allow meto use the dectalk voices.
When I view the make log, I see that the dectalk synthesizer is built, but when
I run test-speech, the dectalk is not listed.
