Just some hints:
- Does the target platform (32/64 bit) or the fftw libs and Gromacs
build match?
- Try to do a make clean first and (/or?) and reconfigure with
--enable-shared. Not sure that it will help, but I vaguely remember
something.
- Try CMake.
