I wrote a new plugin for GLPI, that enables mounting objects into
datacenter racks and draws nice overviews of these racks.
Could you please create a project page in forge so I can publicize it?

I'd like to announce Rackview v1.0.0. This version is currently in beta
state, so it would be great, if some of you install and test it in your
