In the tool-options change "Blend" to "Custom Gradient" and "Gradient"
to "Radial".

The reason why i want it is because if you slice something in two like
one of the things i use alot to play with is bumpmap. But i have no
idea how it works lol i just close my eyes and when i open them up i
get this random image that most of the time looks cool :)

i created some text put it under a metal plate bumpmaped the text
trough the metal plate used a layer mask to cut out the text of the
metal plate and now i want to at a drop shadow with a black to
transparent gradient.
here is my problem the gradient is 2d and not 3d so i can only create
shadows w
Never mind stupid question i used bucket fill to create my shadows :)
PS Did somebody ever thought of making a 3d studio gimp :)
