[Gimp-user] Changing the color of only part of my text

Hello I am creating a simple text logo. The logo is three words but they are all run together: thedaughterproject and I want the word "daughter" to be in a different color. I cannot seem to figure out how to simply get that one word in there changed, without creating three text boxes and messing
