I have changed Black & White images to Blue & White by using: Tools->Color Tools->Color Balance and then increasing Blue and, if necessary, decreasing red (increasing cyan). I would then optionally use Tools->Color Tools->Brightness-Contrast and adjust brightness. On Saturday 14 January 2006 21:55

The crop tool and dialog in 2.3.6 have some really excellent improvements over the old one. Great work dev! I have one question: is it still possible to do a 'crop from selection' like in Gimp < 2.3? I seem to be missing that option in the new dialog. Thanks, Eric P. ___

Maybe this deserves a bug report, but something I've noticed in 2.3.6 is that it always alerts me that a 'A File Named ... Already Exists' upon saving any file regardless whether is truly exists or not. Can anyone else confirm this? Just create a new document and save and see what it says. FYI,

Is this at all possible? My wife has been using Photoshop, and I'm trying to get her to convert to Gimp instead (so that I can work on the same files under Unix) ... the biggest problem is she loses her layers, or, at least, the 'text/font' components of them ... Is there any way of convert
