Hi Babak -
You want to turn off antialiasing. The PDB entry for gimp-text
shows it to be the seventh parameter, just before you get into
the font specification parameters. Set it (in your case) to
FALSE, to avoid antialiasing.

I have written a stand alone perl-script for gimp to automate the making
of simple graphics with text for bottons on a website. So now the
problem.
When I nomaly make graphics with text in Gimp I could choose in the tool
settings for text that I don't like edge smoothing for the text
