[Gimp-user] Text in animated gif

I've made a simple animated gif and what I wanted to do was have a word appear as the last frame. But the text box remains blank, though the text is black and the gif is red. Is there a way I can add text? What am I doing wrong? Or what do I need to do? Pat Brown http://pabrown.com/ A figur

[Gimp-user] Installed brushes won't show up

veral times and have rebooted my pc. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and GIMP 2.6.8. I have a total of 402 brushes, all with either the gbr or gih extension. I can also open and view the brush in gimp, I just can't use them. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Pat Brown http://pabrown.com/ A figure
