I have a bunch of JPG images that are about 1200x900 and would like to
resize them all to about 800x600.
Can gimp do this?
I don't want to do them one by one. I would like to select a directory
and have all the files therein resized.

I just inherited a 200Mhz Pentium Pro machine. It will be my
learn-gimp-machine. I moved a SCSI drive with
RedHat 6.2 from a Pentium II machine to the PPRO, and all is well.
