I'm running gimp 2.6.1 on windows xp, I have a couple of python plugins in my ...\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins directory, yet they don't appear in the menu. Do I need to install some gimp python support, or what could the reason be? Thanks. _

I use the GAP player when I need to. Saving to PNG will have layers merged or flattened. That doesn't work for animations. Saving as GIF is my final result. To demonstrate the problem I'm having: In my animation I have two identical frames of an object surrounded by a transparent background whic

Can the gimp produce an animation that may be 'detached from the dialogue window' and appear clear of background elements around its contour, just like a 'windows dancer'? The dancers I make using only a few frames, with transparent backgrounds, end up with the mid-tone checks appearing along
