I've been informed that my icon needs to be more friendly...graphic-like.
It's basically an "h" above a "u" with a sprite above it...

A destructive way (i.e., work on a duplicate) of doing this would be to
scale your layer down to 1x1 pixels and then fetch the color of that
pixel (using the PDB function 'gimp-drawable-get-pixel')

I am running Mandriva 2007 and using iscan works o/k to scan in
photo/documents etc.
In Gimp under Xtns/Aquire-Image Scanning (iscan) is grayed out,
there is a symbolic link from ---
/usr/bin/iscan to /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plugins/iscan.
Any ideas how to get iscan working with gimp.
