I'm running Gimp 2.0.4 on Linux with glib-2.4.6, gtk+-2.4.7, XFree86
4.4.0, and gimp-print 4.2.6. When I open an image (JPEG), it looks
perfect. When I print it to my Epson Stylus Photo 700, the image prints
ok but it has a red tint to it. Would this be a problem with gimp-print
or Gimp?

Hi,
First off, thanks for writing this plug-in. There's some cool RAW options in the
plugin that I was never knew about when converting RAW images.

Yes, it isn't possible to assign shortcuts to items in GtkOptionMenus
or GtkComboBoxes.

Yes
I have some Japanese text that I need to superimpose on an image.
I have the font that I need to use in .ttf form.
I am able to create files and type Japanese into them using emacs, but
I couldn't figure out how to do so in the Gimp Text tool.
Suggestions?
Thanks,

This has been addressed since GTK+ 2.4.2. The latest is 2.4.9. It's a
very good idea to use the latest version of things, unless you have a
very very good reason not to.

Just a while back I had to deal with a windows ico file also. One thing
you can do is use XnView to convert them all to a different file type.
Of course this may not work for exactly what you are trying to do, but
I'm just trying to provide you with one more option.

Hi,
It seems that shortcuts can be customized only for menuitems. Is there any issue
to attribute one to controls (for example, layers blending modes) ?

Hello, Matthew
The plugin still works fine :). Do you want to send its code and binary
to the original plugin author? He was interesed in it.
Also there were people who were interested in such a plugin in yahoo
gimp-win conference.

The proper hardware can be an ordinary keyboard that still has some keys
