What is wrong, my select is grayscale definition, all resolutions 50-300
dpi
work very fine.
If select color, gimp make "crashed" color picture next is sample 50
dpi
color picture:
What is wrong ??

To pdf? Well, to .jpg, look at ImageMagick's convert function:
convert img.ps img.jpg
should do it, although you may need to be more specific about
the particular ps format (e.g., PS+, PS2+, depending on the
postscript level). Convert also claims to be able to convert to
and from PD
Aha! I, too, had this very problem. The bump map can *only* be
a grayscale image with no alpha channel. Drove me up the wall
for quite a while.

in the actual script the width and the height are depend of the text format , and I

Last night I attempted to print a jpg from kview. The Canon bubblejet 250
started spewing out pages of alphanumeric lines. Pages and pages.

I know why, the damn SMTP server says my home machine name is not
valid. But if I use any FQDN it accepts it, even if not my own name (I
