HI List, I will be attempting to build the system from Stage 1 tarball, however I'm still confused what my /etc/make.conf has to look like. Would anyone give a sample make.conf or point me to a good samples for Pentium 3 (Coppermine) ? I will attempt to install from Kanotix LiveCD . Mu GCC is 3

I have installed the system from Kanotix live-CD, however I can't access /dev/hda3 on my HD. Kernel boots just fine. Since I think I had to save conf files somewhere else, how can I copy, for instance, /etc/fstab in my newly installed Gentoo? I can't save it on my floppy too. Thanks in advance.
