This entry seems to be used when you run start
Problem solved! caster at b.g.o. suggested running
Must be some orphan file.
Try grep ant-junit /usr/share/*/package.env
which found CLASSPATH and DEPEND lines in .../ant-tasks/package.env.
After removing the ant-junit references, emerge gave a different error
message. I then disabled all

I was using KDE-Live (v.4.4.95), but it crashed sometimes.
Then I do: emerge -C @kde-live.
The kde-meta- had been uninstall-ed well.
Next step, I switch to stable version 4.4.3.
But when I do: emerge kde-meta:4.4.
It shows:
Total: 60 packages (3 upgrades, 5 new, 52 in new slots, 52 uninstalls)

Hi All,
I have asked a similar question on this M/L in the past. There seems
to be different ways of making sure that gpg-agent is started prior to
the desktop being launched, but I can't get any of these to work with

Previously, I was using almost
Hi,
I am currently using archlinux and windows 7 and want to try out gentoo.
I guess grub will be overwritten by gentoo but will it contain the
options to boot arch kernel images automatically? I really dont wanna
mess up grub.
Thanks

Hi,
Currently I am rebuilding a shiny new Gentoo-system on another
harddisk "from scratch".
I think my "old" system have some retro designs and obsoleted
mechanisms, because they still work for me and I was too busy
with other things, whih quit to work ;)
My old system uses:

For quite a while I have used the following steps to perform a
"single-user backup"
1. Boot to single user mode via the grub command
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/sda6 single
2. Type in the root password.
3. Execute a single command
/usr/local/sbin/ajg-backup-init-3
