I think I have written here previously that I want to move my _server_ to FreeBSD. I am still thinking about that. But now I hit an obstacle. For a long time, I have put my local kiddie scripts in /usr/local. For better or worse, they are written in my dense style where any code duplication is

I am wanting to rip all of my dvd's onto an external drive but whenever i mount my dvd drive (hdc) it shows it as a dvd. However when i open the folder there are no folders displayed as if it is a blank disk yet kaffine will still allow me to play the dvd. Has anyone encountered this or had any

I enjoy KDE, especially since the atomic builds were introduced. The full KDE is so full of - for my needs - completely useless junk, that I've kept away from it.
