sorry for posting it again and again but i hope this post will sort out
any doubts you could have before.
Running named from /etc/init.d/ is not working:
$ /etc/init.d/named start
* Starting named ...
usage: named [-4|-6] [-c conffile] [-d debuglevel] [-f|-g] [-n
number_of_cpus]
What version of bind are we talking about?
net-dns/bind-9.3.1-r4
Well, this version is masked, maybe for this reason?
I'm running 9.2.5-r6, the latest stable, and do not have this issue...
