[gentoo-user] Problems compiling gcc 4.2.4 and 4.3.1-r1

Hi. I am having problems compiling gcc vrsions 4.2.4 or 4.3.1-r1. The errors are very similar -- here is what I am getting when compiling 4.3.1-r1. libtool: compile: /var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/gcc-4.3.1-r1/work/build/./gcc/xgcc -B/var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/gcc-4.3.1-r1/work/build/./gcc/ -B/u
