Dear list, I have here a brand new mainboard (Asus P8P67 Pro) with the new sandy chip on it. If I look into the manual it says there is an Intel 82579 Gigabit LAN chip on-board. I tried it with kernel 2.6.37 (from kernel.org) and dmesg tells me: e1000e: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Driver - 1.2.7-k2
