all right I have converted the tif image to pgm and then ran gocr on it.
It recognized about 95% of the characters. This is a printed
document from word so why isn't it 100%? Would you suggest a font
and/or size of text. As well should I be converting the tif to a
specif format that works bett

you could use "convert" (media-gfx/imagemagick)
