The help documentation for /etc/inputrc is found in`man 3 readline' under section INITIALIZATION FILE and is quite extensive. However I don't see any info regarding how to interpret the characters used in /etc/inputrc. Things like: # for linux console and RH/Debian xterm "\e[1~": beginning-of
