I bought a laptop and i got like 4 hours of batter life, everything ok,
(using more than 1 vm, etc), however now in idle my laptop has only 1
hour of life, which is really annoying because its a brand new laptop
bought one year before.

I was updating my gentoo install, and now it says that /boot has 0
bytes, however i don't know why since i never save anything in that folder.

for your devices.
From there, you can fix your .config file and revert back to a custom
kernel.

upgrading the Kernel from 2.6.25-gentoo-r8 to 2.6.27-gentoo-r8, I was

Well first of all, tank you for your pompt reply, according to what
you say , I tried changing the the keyboard and mouse crd, but I
diden´t have much lucky, I'Coud say That therisn´t hardware problems,
I'll try with a nother Livcd Linux Distro to see what happen.

If you are using KDM you can always do a "killall X" as root and KDM should
bring it back up for you.

in 2003 or 2004, Loved it and it has been close to me ever since, I still
test other distros but nothing comes close to Gentoo.
