if the default mdadm scan does not automatically detect their raid devices,
then the user needs to manually define their raid devices in /etc/mdadm.c

Due to the newest media-lib/gd the current graphviz won't build
anymore. Could someone who actually uses it, bump it to the latest

Both sides have valid points:
1) we should remove vulnerable cruft from the tree
2) we should not break dependencies for any arch, regardless of their
response time
I believe some communication adjustments could avoid unnecessary conflict.
