The Traffic Control podling would like to use some third party open source
code to help us manage some databases in our project
(https://bitbucket.org/liamstask/goose/). This tool and its dependencies all
fall into the Category A bucket (AL, MIT, BSD)
Unfortunately, this tool appears

Apologies for this slightly unorthodox use of the mailer.
I’m in the process of preparing a release for the Traffic Control podling. As
the RM, I have to use my GPG key to sign the release.
However, my GPG key is not yet tied into the web of trust and we cannot pass
the vote because of this.

I checked the following:
- Filename of "apache-griffin-0.1.4-incubating" would be preferred
- GPG signature validates
- MD5 and SHA1 signatures validate but it would be nice to release in a format
that allows the tools to check automatically with "-c" option (see manpage)
- Many .sh files n

I’m far from an expert on Creative Commons, so please bear with me.
Reference 3 below is from the OWASP SecLists Project[1] which is under the
Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) 3.0 license.
The Apache “resolved” page places Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) 3.0
I’ll talk with the rest of the Traffic Control PPMC tomorrow about getting in
touch with the author.

Thanks for the suggestion to reach out to the author for relicensing. He has
moved the project under the MIT license. We’ll be updating our LICENSE file and
starting a new release vote.
