That looks great!
You can also remove 1.0.0 from the dev area now that the release is
out. If you are following a release process, and it mentions removing
old releases
Dear all,
thank you for voting and the input to improve our future releases.
The vote is now closed and has passed with 3 +1 binding votes and 1 +1
non-binding for the 1.0.0 rc5 release.
Binding votes:- Paul King
- Jean-Baptiste Onofré
- Calvin Kirs

+1 (binding)

For clarity, my +1 also means no show-stoppers for me. I think the
KEYS file is fixable now and is worth doing.
Otherwise this looks like a great step forward and the other caveats,
similarly to the things JB mentioned, can be addressed in future
releases.
Cheers, Paul.

Casting my +1 (binding) from the dev mailing list (see
https://lists.apache.org/thread/24y2h0y5z108zn062o7djwkh6kf538mz)

in next releases.
Thanks,
Regards
JB

+1 (binding - with caveats)
I checked:
* checksum
* incubating in the source zip name
* DISCLAIMER, LICENSE, NOTICE present in source zip
* signatures okay (but see note about KEYS in earlier email)
* maven clean install passed with JDK 11
* some acceptable binary files: the images/pdf/omnigraffle
If you have some kind of template that is used when generating the
email for this list, it might pay to include wording about the PPMC
vote, so that it doesn't get missed in the future.
I also noted that you don't mention the KEYS file in either this
thread or the PPMC vote thread. In general, you
Thank you Paul.
+1 (non-binding)

I'd normally expect to see a reference to the PPMC vote. I can see
that it happened, so including it here for others:

I'll also take a look at the release artifacts over the next few days.
