Hi Justin,
ConcurrentMapBackedCache.scala used the structure of the original files
spray.caching.Cache and spray.caching.SimpleLruCache in scala-caching 1.3.4.
The implementation is rewritten by openwhisk developer. We added the ASF header
into this file.
Best wishes.

+1 to automatically carried forward which I suspect is how it’s been
handled up to now.

I saw that, question to ask is if it’s 3rd party file (with minimal changes)
why does it have an ASF header?
Thanks,
Justin

Best wishes.

Hi Matt,
We do not want ship any jar file inside the source code artifact, so
gradle-wrapper.jar has been removed from the package.
However, you can follow the instruction here:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/openwhisk/apache-openwhisk-0.9.0-incubating-rc2/doc/INSTALL.md,

- signature ok
- incubating in name
- disclaimer file
- notice and license (other than the line mentioned by Justin already)
- included gradle wrapper in source tar does not work (seems to be missing
the bootstrap jar)
- nonetheless, builds fine with my system copy of gradle 4.8.1

No issue. You might want to check that your rat exclusions haven’t been set a
little too wide, it happens reasonably frequently, even with some TLP projects.
