Changing project's name is not a easy decision, especially it will
destroy the compatibility, all of SDK package namespace will switch to
a new one, A lot of the client applications need to be modified.
Later, BonoLv will raise one thread to discuss changing the project's name.

Thanks @John
We have updated the proposal . The information of mentors section was
rewritten using format learned from JuneauProposal.
The two Github organization and multi-repository problem is caused by the

The PPMC vote to release Apache Gearpump (incubating) 0.8.2-RC2 has passed.

I personally felt that Weex is suggestive of "we ex-"., and thought not bad
for UI/UX project. e.g., We experience, We experts, ...

In that case, I think a new project name will better for next step.

Thanks for providing the URL, John. My apologies for noting an incorrect
number of binding votes. Below is an updated status.
The vote passes with 38 +1 votes (10 binding) and no -1 votes. Below are
the results:
Jochen Wiedmann +1 (binding)
Rob Davies +1
Bertrand Delacretaz +1 (binding)

I didn’t vote here, but I rarely indicate my vote is binding although it
usually is. Checking here which votes are binding would have taken quite a
while…. perhaps in the future asking people to indicate if their vote is
binding would help.

Hi John,
I relied on the binding count based on people stating that their vote is

Given that wix.com gets by with the name, I'm not sure it
matters...there's probably more of a concern over confusion with Wix
than it referring to masturbation in German... :-)

Hey ... I'm a native German speaker too ...
The referenced word is pronounced with a short 'i' and is referring to
something a boy would do alone at night ...
Given that Weex is pronounced with a long 'i', it could lead to some fun
situations.
Cheers

A native German speaker tells me Weex means or sounds something
