MLs are fine, b/c one would need to change address later, and
searching for pre-graduation threads is more easily.
For SVN I don't see a benefit. The repos can be moved with less effort
once component is graduated. I would like to
Hi Henri!
thanks for following up the conversation! I agree that joining the
existing Commons infra would simplify the process to graduate OGNL as
a proper Commons component, we could share MLs and also SVN (Sandbox

What Incubator PMCs think about it?

Below is a thread from the Commons Dev list in which I'm recommending
that OGNL use the commons dev mailing list and that the svn
permissions allow the ognl committers and the commons committers to
have read write access.

The Apache Bean Validation [1] community is proud to announce our
0.3-incubating release, which is our third release as an Apache
Incubator project. This release includes a few minor bug fixes and
passes the Bean Validation 1.0.3 TCK. Please visit the Downloads [2],

Hi,
I think this would be a good move going forward. In addition to points
Glen and Srinath raised also Airavata has a significant stake in So
going forWS-Messenger in terms of monitoring of long workflows across
resource boundaries as well as the components being orchestrated.
Going forward it wil

Hi Glen,
There is a slight difference between Savan and messenger as one let
you subscribe to event generated by services whereas other is a
broker. Still I agree that messenger is best placed inside Savan.
I would like to propose that we bring in ws-messenger into Airavata
and move it off before
I am pleased to announce the availability of Apache Deltacloud 0.3.0.
Apache Deltacloud is a RESTful cloud abstraction API. The release

The only point I'd explore a bit is the WS-Messenger component, in

Hi Chris,
Justin Erenkrantz previously (almost a year ago) pointed us to OODT and found
it very complementary. Very Excited that Ross is involved with both projects
and hoping for a good alignment. I tried the OODT 0.1 release but haven't
looked at the 0.2 release yet. Briefly skimming though t

Hi Edward,
first sorry for the late response.
- checksums and signature are ok
- rat-check looks ok (CHANGES.txt and conf/groomservers are not
approved, you should add the apache-rat-plugin to your pom.xml)
- Ant and Maven builds worked
- license and notice file looks ok except for the servlet.ja
