What about "morgue".
The things may be dead, but the living still want to poke them about a bit
before they are finally buried.. or perhaps brought back to life again in
the "return-of-the-living-dead.apache.org" project.

What about "morgue".
It fits in with the graveyard theme, but is also a newspaper
term for the old story archives. Look at one of the old
movies set in a newsroom and you will hear the term.
It's where they go to do research on old stories.
Just a suggestion.

IMO graveyard is the most descriptive term I have seen so far which
explains what the project is and does not sacrifice on style ;-)
