some time ago we discussed that we need a new website, we talked about
having a new website for Arabeyes. It was decided that we use drupal to

everything else (projects, contributor presentations, documentation if
still useful) to the wiki.
The main reason that discouraged me at some point from completing the
drupal website is multilingualism issues. I could not get D
I agree, but I think we should have at least one page in English [&
probably some other language(s)] that talks about Arabeyes: who we are,
our vision, what we do, our project and contributions, ...etc. and I
don't think that this would be so hard to do. I can write the text for
an English and
I don't think we need everything to be available in English. Since we
all translate into Arabic, I can assure that we all know Arabic already.
The pages that should be available in languages other than Arabic are
limited. I do, however, believe that certain pages must be available in

Keep in mind that outside translation, we may have (and we have had many)
contributors who do not speak Arabic like font designers, package
maintainers for different distributions, programmers working on Arabic
'script' support, etc.
