Hi Tayyar,
That should not happen, and that address is far outside the memory region
for the system. Could you switch on the Bus,Cache debug flags and see what
is happening?
Thanks,
Andreas

Why on earth would queens need 8 GB of memory?

Although increasing the memory can hide this problem, it's most likely
due to the address of the access being computed with a wrong value. So
it's likely that it's either due to a bug in the simulator or in the binary.

Hi
Having successfully built gem5 on a virtual machine, I'm now trying to repeat
the exercise on our main company network.
This means that I have had to talk to our IT department to get the right
libraries installed and all that kind of stuff.
Having overcome a few obstacles, such as getting

Hello,
As we previously discussed, the arm_detailed cpu is thought to be a mix
between cortex-A9 and A15.
I would like to change the question and ask if someone has configuration
scripts of a real ARM processor.

Hi All,
In O3 LSQ, when a load packet is not accpeted by L1D (i.e., sendTimingReq()
returns false), the pipeline is restarted and the load and all younger
instructions are squashed. This causes a lot of instruction squashes when
the processor is wide or when cache has a limited number of MSHRs.

Hello,
I am trying to run Parsec benchmarks on Alpha in FS mode using O3cpu. I am
using revision 9321. I tried two options, and both failed.
1. I loaded the kernel, took a checkpoint, and restored the checkpoint.
Then, tried to run some applications, like bodytrack, but I
got segmentation fault.
Hello all,
I am trying to do the same thing, but with o3cpu, and I am facing errors.
Are you using o3cpu?

Hi, all,
What I am trying to do is to count the number of requests injected into the
network, including cache misses and coherence protocol requests.
My question is how to calculate number of coherence protocol requests
injected into the network in gem5. Thank you.

Hi Tushar,
I have a question about Garnet Network. In the simulation, we want to stall
the network for certain time (like router will stop working) to mimic the
voltage transition. Is there any place I can look into, so that when the
clock is ticking, the flits in the network would stay put for a
