Here's the problem:
1. I'd like a custom title block to be used at startup.
2. I'd like to make and use some custom components
Here's what I have done:
1. Following the advice I found at:

Stefan,
Thanks very much for copying your rc files for me. The problem was here:
(define gedasymbols "/home/cullen/gaf/wcjc/symbols")
which should have read:
(component-library "/home/cullen/gaf/wcjc/symbols")
I am still unsure why it did not either, print an error in the log, or
work, as

Here is a symbol I have just created. It is for what Littlefuse /
Teccor calls a "quadrac" which is just a Triac with its own internal
trigger Diac. If some possibly interested party would be so kind as to
have a look at this little guy, and notify me of any grievous errors;
I would be much obliged
What I like to use for demo-ing this is an aluminum pipe, and a very
strong magnet. I usually drop something non-magnetic first, to show
everyone that it isn't a gag. Then drop the magnet. It's fun to see
people put their hand out to catch it, and then watch them wait. You
can hear it as it falls a

My first thought is FTDI Vinculum or something like it. I'm sure there
are competitors as Vinculum has been around for a few years. I
couldn't tell you if it is best inexpensive, but it at least looks
fairly inexpensive.

Have you got a part number for it? What's inside? You could use a DMM
to confirm, if you consider its internals. Your guess of bottom left
seems reasonable.

And consider that, no matter how heavy a symbol is, you can always
make it heavier. Let's say we ship a symbol for a 4.7k 0603
resistor.
Does it include manufacter's part numbers? Vendor name? Tolerance?
These are additional data the user could add. Where does it come

Do they add meta-data to the symbol, the footprint, or store it
elsewhere?
Well, as an example, I i

Now that we're pre-parsing all the M4 footprints anyway, perhaps we
could allow for a range of scripting options in the Makefiles that

What a headache! I dig through boxes until I find it!
As far as computerized inventory tracking, I have almost zilch. I have a
few old BOMs lying around. I keep datasheets for parts I own in
different directories from other parts. I try to keep the files named
so that I can find them when I nee
