Is it possible to import a bit map graphic, be it png, jpg, etc, and
overlay it on a layer so you can then trace it using pcb?
This way a scan acn be made of an existing pcb and accurately reproduced
in pcb.

I have noticed something and wish to know if it is normal. If I have a
footprint on my drawing nd wish to select it, or rotate, I can not
select on a pad or pin because only that one element gets selected, not
the whole footprint. Is this normal?

In my continuing learning experience with creating/modifying footprints
I have run into the following problem. Using the inputs form several
other users I created my first footprint, a 16 pin DIP with oval pads
(thanks to all). Then I wanted to create 8, 14, 18, etc pins footprints.
I selected
I am trying my hand at modifying an existing footprint, 14 pioval pads
from the newlib tests. I have never done this before and I an having a
problem. I place the footprint, select it and go the buffer pull down
and "copy" it to buffer and then explode it into separate elements. But,
then when
. I copied it to
/usr/local/share/pcb/pcblib-newlib/generic/14DIP_oval_pad.fp, but it
doesn't show up when running pcb.

I was wondering is it possible to have oblong visa instead of just round
visa? They would be especially better when making heat transfer boards
and hand soldering.

Yea, after I printed it mirrored and looked at it I realized I didn't
want it mirrored, duh. First time at trying this and learning every step
of the way.

How do I print only the solder layer mirrored? I don't need to print all
9/10 pages everytime.
