FWIW I thought we no longer needed a .security file to be installed.

The problem is that classpath.security gets installed to /usr/lib/security
only, but not /usr/lib64/security.
Running
cp /usr/lib/security/classpath.secruity /usr/lib64/security
after installing gcc fixes it.
