This bug is worse then I thought it is still occurring after
-fno-optimize-sibling-calls and less frequent and like a race condition right
after seek is done to avi with idx

I am reopening this bug based on that I have retested and recompiled using
gcc-trunk which leads to trying to reduce to the exact optimization flag which
was causing this problem. As you can see the gdb output above is

AFAIK -O0 compiles OK, -O1 fails and cause internal compiler error.
